Popocatépetl Volcano Live Cam, Mexico
Live webcam from Popocatépetl Volcano, or “El Popo”, an active stratovolcano located about 70 km (43 miles) southeast of Mexico City, in Puebla and Morelos, Mexico.
This volcano is part of the Izta-Popo Zoquiapan National Park. Reaches a remarkable height of 5,426 meters (17,802 feet), which makes it Mexico’s second-highest peak. Since January 2005, the volcano has continuously erupted, showcasing its power through regular venting from fumaroles. These eruptions are often accompanied by more minor releases of steam, gas, and ash, reminding us of the volcano’s restless nature.

Live view of Paseo de la Reforma, a large avenue in the centre of Mexico City, inspired in the great European boulevards, as in Paris and Vienna. In the centre of the roundabout is the Angel of Independence (officially known as Monumento a la Independencia, and often called El Ángel), one of the city’s main landmarks — there is a golden statue on the top of a high column and several other statues on its base symbolising the heroes of the Mexican War of Independence, some of whom are actually buried there.
